I'll wait until after I've seen the movie to proclaim any judgment on it. I've heard a lot of people say it's very good, and a few people say it completely misses the point of Star Trek, and I'm very interested in how I'll actually feel about it!

I'm not a big fan of alternate universes. They always feel a bit like cheating. Still, if it's good I'll go with it.
