Dude, I was ALL ABOUT the early episodes of TNG. I was all about Number One and Tasha Yar was the first in a long line of characters I loved who bit the bullet.
But I love DS9. Although there's a lot of crossover from TNG, but it's completely different. I think it's my favorite, because it deals with interaction more than missions since they're stationary.
Well if the phaser doesn't make noises, that's not nearly as fun. I would lean towards noises rather than none.
