I agree--at first I put it on shuffle but I just couldn't get into the songs so I listen to them all by album instead and that works much better. That's awesome that your dad still has the LP! I have my aunt's US release Meet the Beatles on LP, which isn't that cool except that I found her teenage cut outs of the Beatles photos from magazines. I thought that was cute, because I could not imagine her being like that! (Makes me wonder if she realized she had them tucked away in there!)
I guess you're one of the rare people that can hear it! Makes me wonder what it sounds like, aww! Yeah I can't hear that at all, and I usually skip that part when I'm listening to my headphones since it's at the end, and I don't want to wait that long to hear the loop and just switch albums. ^^;
I'm still listening to my albums now until I get tired of it. I used to listen to the anthology back in middle school. Gives me middle school memories of my recording on cassette. Haha.
